2010 Season Summary

The 2010 season is the first season this website tracked the game-by-game results of WVU Baseball. The results indicate what we've known all along: Quality wins do not occur in the WVU Baseball program:
  • WVU's record was 27-30
  • The 27 wins came against teams with a combined 329-431 record, a .432 winning percentage, more than 100 games under .500
  • WVU won three games against teams who were at least 17 games under .500
  • WVU beat only five teams with a winning record:

Big East Results
  • Only three wins against Big East teams with an overall winning record. (Only one of those teams had a winning conference record.)

  • 10-17 record earned WVU the 8-seed in the conference tournament
  • 0-2 in the Big East Tournament
