Season Summaries

Greg's teams play the least-challenging schedules of any team in the nation; it is filled with "CSU" teams: Coppin State, Cleveland State, Chump State... want stats? Since 2001, WVU has had only four seasons with a winning conference record. The non-conference schedule (along with Big East weakling Georgetown) makes it almost certain that West Virginia will have at least 25 wins every year.

A summary of the chart below. Since 1999 (the first season with all his own recruits):

    • Only three seasons with winning Big East records.
    • Eight seasons with an overall winning record, but only five seasons with two wins more than losses, so he's barely playing .500 ball even when he has a winning season -- and this from a team who plays Georgetown and a pathetic non-conference schedule every year.
